During a 600-second exposure an RQ-7 Shadow drone aircraft from Ft. Huachucha, AZ, made two passes over the observatory. This aircraft has a 14' wingspan and can fly up to 135 mph and go up to 15,000 foot altitude. It can stay airborne 8.5 hours.
